Logistics Specialist - Shipping Operations (ENG/FR)

Jobomschrijving

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of maritime transportation operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port logistics.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo shipments, documentation, and tracking information.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Accomany the GM on client visits as required by business needs (infrequent)
  

Jouw profiel

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 3 years proven experience in shipping operations or maritime logistics.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and shipping software.
• Excellent communication skills.Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure .
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
